The room is nice, clean, and super quiet. The bed is dated but still comfortable. Acceptable t.v., and microwave with fridge. My only complaint is about the climate control unit ... I got in my room and it was about 72 degrees inside and I wanted to cook it off just a bit ago I turned on the fan only... Well, the unit only pumped hot air. I put it on a/c and got... Hot air. The room went from 72 to 75 super quickly. Not a huge issue in the winter, as I just opened the windows for a few minutes, but it's something to consider if you like better temperature control ...

Positive: Exceptionally clean rooms. Nice staff. Hot shower with perfect water pressure. Very comfortable mattresses. Negative: No convenience store but they gave us toothpaste from the front desk so that was really nice.

We were there for a convention and appreciated,the excellent catering service, the spacious meeting rooms, the friendly staff,as well as the central location. This hotel is unique in its historical significance and proximity to a number of gift, shops, museums, galleries, and the post office. It was nice to have the in-house breakfast in the morning, which was ample and complementary. There are various types of room arrangements, and although some of the plumbing is a little creaky because of the vintage characteristic, it’s well worth that inconvenience in order to experience the variety and diversity of the midtown clientele. Real review I promise. I arrived at 1am driving from Tahoe with my dog. The room was very quiet, dark and didn’t smell like smoke. It was clean and worth the price for sure. Also the breakfast is a real breakfast with eggs, bacon and coffee (or other options). Not a dumb bagel or something other places give you.

Very basic but very clean rooms. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable and warm. The showers were hot and the bathroom basic but clean. I was worried at first cause the corset looks a bit shabby but it was perfect and you can't beat the price. A security foot patrol walks the parking in the town square too so your vehicle should be safe from local wildlife.
