Valley View RV Park

Valley View staff were extremely attentive during our month stay in Elko, NV. We needed a place to have an extended visit with family, when a family member had an unexpected health crisis, and Dawneen was very helpful. Our site was comfortable with a level pad and fit our Class C and two additional automobiles alongside. They even do propane refills, in our case directly to our mobile home's attached tank. The price was very reasonable and was close to grocery stores and a shopping mall, and also to the town. We will definitely book them again.

This park used to have a nightly rate of $14. It STILL shows this on the sign upon entry (they've attempted to wash it out - but - its STILL visible.) It's now 45./night and somehow 4 nights were $186. for me - I didn't bother asking about the extra six bucks. Despite the rate MORE than tripling, its still 2+ miles OUT of town (so to go anywhere, you must drive) and NO improvements have been made within the park (which is mostly full timers).||I was taken back by the new rate and asked about their participation in any discount programs and the NEW manager (not real friendly or helpful) said "not yet." Further, she pretended to "play dumb" about the $14. rate - even though the entry sign still (faintly) shows it. ||They are still the least expensive in Elko - but - next time, I will stay el

Price was great, campground was well taken care of. Bathroom/shower room could be a little better. But really great!

This will be our new spot passing through. Campground kept up nicely. Friendly service, stays open late for checkin. Cheap rates for overnight. If you don’t need all the other stuff a KOA has and high prices just for a spot to stop and sleep this is the place! Full hookups too. Next to freeway but it wasn’t very loud.

My truck broke down in transit between California and Wyoming and I stayed in Valley View a month. Melissa (and her dog Ichabod) was awesome and took care of me like family. She was flexible to my schedule planning and provided access to good facilities at a budget friendly price. I'll be stopping here again the next time passing thru.
