The best sleep we’ve ever experienced here. It’s perfect for summer—after an early morning hike, returning to the chalet in the early afternoon is a real treat. The place is peaceful, quiet, and incredibly spacious. Immaculately clean, too. Our child loved exploring the area, especially the lower level with the big rock, and truly enjoyed the natural surroundings—birds, squirrels, trees, and flowers. Highly recommend it!

We booked both the Large Lodge and the Log Cabin to support our BSA Venture Crew's annual mountaineering training weekend. We had 29 people in total, and couldn't be happier with the location and accommodations. The common spaces provided ample space for the off-mountain training we needed, and the kitchen was perfect to support cooking for such a large group. Some of our kids were even able to enjoy an outside campfire. Absolutely wonderful, will absolutely come again!

This place is perfect for exploring Mt Rainier NP. It’s so close to the entrance—just a quarter mile. We stayed in “The Log Cabin”. The first glance at the grounds are a bit odd but the cabin is just as you would expect a log cabin to be! Quaint, cozy and outdoorsy. And there is some history to this site which is pretty cool. The rooms were comfortable, laundry is on site and there are two bathrooms which is a huge plus! The cabin is stocked with the essentials. It’s quiet and you feel so tucked away in the woods. It was perfect for our time at MRNP. Although we never saw them, the hosts were responsive to my questions prior to arrival and all information we needed was provided inside. I would definitely stay here again! (Oh, but if you’re tall, be sure to watch your head. 🙂)

Wonderfully located near the entrance to Mt. Ranier, but close enough to Ashford to get supplies. The Family cabin is a lovely rustic cottage with all the necessary amenities you'll need to an unforgettable tour of the park!
