White River Campground Amphitheater

This campground is a lot further into the park on the northern side. Be prepared to not have network in this area. They have a few different lots with FCFS options as well. Bathroom facility is decent, and there’s also a faucet outside for cleaning and washing dishes. Bear storage is quite large so good for storing freshly cooked food

This is the greatest Campground I've ever been to, I've been here several times. It's only open from the last week of June till maybe the end of September, depending on weather. Over a hundred sites no hookups No Reservations, some with a view of the mountain. Most have privacy and little streams running through them. It's 10 miles down the hill from Sunrise Visitor Center. A must-see. The glacier Basin Trail is only a couple miles to the Emmons glacier.

The semicircular log benches here are super dope. The amphitheater is in the campgrounds and provides plenty of seating, even if there’s not a particular event going on. It’s a great place to relax after finishing a hike or a perfect place to check your gear before you get started. Kids can have fun jumping from bench to bench here as well. It’s just one of many things that makes this part of the national park so awesome, special, and fun. The sign in front says “Campfire Circle.”

I loved tent camping here. It was well maintained and my neighbors were very respectful. I felt safe here as a solo traveler. The trails connected to this campground were actually my favorite in sunrise! It’s so easy to access with bathrooms right at the entrance of the trail.

It would take a while to tell you how great it was and I'm too lazy after all enjoying it so much
