Quiet One RV Park

I have lived in this park for just shy of 3 years. Love it here. The park management has always been helpful. The newest park manager Kat is fantastic. She has addressed every concern I have had and has even been checking on my dogs the last few days while I have been at work. ( Have had to leave space heater on for my babies). My neighbors are fantastic and I know my property and belongings are safe in this park. We have a gate at night. Small but functional laundry room, shower and bath facilities, and a small pool. It's Quiet as the name suggests but their are some really great people living here.

We have owned a home in the park for several years and visit several times per year. We have seen a lot of positive changes the past year under the new management. We had some issues under the prior management but they have all been resolved. The wife and I are retiring early next year and look forward to being winter Texans here at The Quiet One. We look forward to being a positive support in our little community of 65-70 lots. We have a gated entry that we leave closed at night time. Kat the new manager is great to work with and they work hard to keep improving the place and to make it a safe and enjoyable experience. Very nice park. The manager is the absolute best! She went above and beyond to make our stay great! Very helpful and thoughtful. Would stay again if the chance arose.

Unfortunately, I don't see a 'no-stars' option. When I moved here from Austin in 2007, this was an older, but still nice park. Brian and Rhonda did a great job, but sold the park after Harvey. Thus began the decline. After 18 years, a manager who was a disaster, and new owners who only see dollar signs and not people, who continue to lie to residents, I decided to leave. I no longer felt safe, my concerns ignored. Rules seem to apply to some, but not others. Everything is in disrepair, because the new owners do nothing about upkeep. Though they claim to do background checks on potential guests, the evidence says otherwise. Just more lies.

Stayed in this rv park for about six months. Manager was intoxicated all the time. Manager also talked about other residents that lived there and had been long time residents. The park was supposed to be quiet and catered to the older crowd which was great due to I worked construction and had to be up at 4 am. Manager starting letting anyone and everyone move in the park. We moved out of the park and went on to better things. Don’t waste your time renting a spot management and other residents can’t be trusted to leave your stuff alone. Sad it is about money now and not the residents.
