Quiet Mind Lodge Retreat & Spa Sequoias

I booked the room looking at the nice pictures of room on the website. Of course, I never got such room, instead I got depressing lodge at outdoor temperature on the arrival. The lodge was not very clean with very dirty bath mat. The ladder to the mezzanine was very steep for a child. Before arrival we got a long list of rules and price list for a massage chair. We arrived after very long drive and were very tired. The lodge was very cold and the heating would not start working. The receptionist helped us to get it work but an hour later it was still very cold. We could not relax waiting for the lodge to warm up. The fixture holding shower curtain was hardly on and the tiles were coming off the wall. It was new years eve and I just wanted to enjoy it. I expect a bit lower temperature but

We had a wonderful and rejuvenating experience on our honeymoon. The location was beautiful, nestled in the trees along the river with a lovely hot tub and apple trees. The rooms felt cozy and cute and they even upgraded us for our honeymoon! The bed and breakfast style seating provided a feeling of community with the other guests and we had some lovely conversations with fellow travelers. What stood out the most to us was the wonderful service from Johnny, who made us feel at home right away. It's clear he has a passion for what he does and we were blown away by his baking skills- he took the time to make an apple pie from scratch for the guests and his lava cake was incredible.

This place is a total scam. We booked one night for New Year’s Eve and it was the worst stay I’ve ever had.||We slept in room 4, and there was dog poop and vomit under the bed. I never thought in my life I’d experience something like that. The room was not clean at all. There was hair in the bed and in the shower.||The AC/heater is just a small, super loud unit with no proper air circulation. It’s hot right in front of it, while the back of the room is blowing ice cold air.||The whole place is falling apart. You can really feel that they either have no money anymore or just don’t want to spend it. Everything looks old, worn out, and neglected.||The jacuzzi is outside in the middle of nowhere. The so called spa is just an infrared sauna that you have to pay $1 per minute for, even though wh

Location is amazing, super secluded and away from everything. The stars at night are incredible. Staff were lovely and it has a homely vibe.

My stay at Quiet Mind Lodge Sequoias was truly peaceful and refreshing. The surroundings are full of nature and the atmosphere is very calm. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was kind and helpful throughout my stay. A perfect place to relax and reset.
