Quarterdeck Motel

I wish I could rate it 5 stars. But our stay wasn’t the quite best. I mean the price we paid I understand because there is way more expensive hotels out there. But I was very upset at one instance. I have very little kids. 4 & 2 to be exact. We stayed there almost a week an all the while we were there we had several issues. We had our two littles ones towels stolen, when they hung on the railing by our room. At one point the microwave was overheating and just not working properly. You would heat something up and then if it overheat it would like just beep uncontrollably or the key pad wouldn’t work. There was teenagers dumping ice from the ice machine into the hot tub. & a few times housekeeping hadn’t even changed trash. Otherwise it was a nice & relaxing stay.

Positive: Location, full sized fridge, coffee maker, hot tub and outdoor grill Negative: Place is only adequate because of its age and condition, but the exceedingly friendly and accommodating staff earnestly make up for shortcomings like unheated hot tub (at least u can still enjoy it) and old towels and bedding. Mattress was fine tho.

Location is the only benefit to this stay. The fridge has rust all over it. The door has no weather stripping showing light all the way around it. Toilet barely flushes. Towels were stained and the linens did not appear to be cleaned very well. Had to buy blankets from Walmart. Big recommend if coming here.||The top deck doesn’t appear in the best shape and there is a gap where a child could fit through and fall. Didn’t bother with the hot tub or pool!||Oh, they do have an ice machine. That was good.

This motel is exactly what you’d expect for an older place, cheap bedding, tile floor(dirty), curtains that don’t close all of the way, poor water pressure. The good thing about this place is the pool and the proximity to the boardwalk. If you want location and a cheap place to sleep, stay here. If you want quiet, do not. The walls are thin and people are not quiet. I had to make sure the ac ran all night to act as white noise or bring ear plugs.

Nick was a great manager. The staff and all of the vacationers were fun and friendly. Everyone enjoyed each other’s company. Weather in the pool or out The walk to the boardwalk was great. We had a great time
