Quality Inn Traverse City

Hotel was okay for the price. Badly needs remodeling, cracked tile, cracked sinks, and ripped up old carpet. Water in the shower would get really hot then luke warm out of no where. Room was half way cleaned just to make it look pretty upon walking in but needs a deep clean.

We stayed in the accessible room with a roll in shower. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful prior to our arrival to check the room for the location of the grab bar by the toilet. Since my wheelchair confined wife only has use of one hand, it is an important consideration. It is on the left as you are seated. Check in itself was very pleasant and fast as was check out. The hotel has good people. Room was typical Quality Inn as was the breakfast. However, it is of note that that they have a cappuccino machine which was a welcome addition. They also offered cookies in the evening and again at breakfast. Negatives were that the toilet grab bar was loose. It should also be about a foot longer than it is. Hotel was needing some serious maintenance. Toilet continually ran. Heater turned on and off constantly even though you could tell it was a new model. Exterior door didn’t shut correctly. Left a gap at the top and hard to put on the deadbolt. Beds were ok. Didn’t do breakfast. My husband said he will never stay here again.

A decent place to stay off of busy US 31. The lobby is cozy. They have coffee, tea, and cookies all day long.The front desk staff is friendly and professional. The room was comfortable, quiet too. Slept well.Bathroom showerhead could be better but there's plenty of hot water. I liked the bathroom towels. They are great quality. Breakfast buffet is plentiful. Lots of options. The free breakfast was much appreciated. There's everything from eggs and sausage to waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, and muffins. A cappuccino machine too. There's a swimming pool and jacuzzi at this Quality Inn but the pool is quite small. If you're looking for a fairly priced place to stay, Quality Inn fits the bill. It's a comfortable property and I feel blessed to have stayed here.

This hotel is a solid choice if you enjoy absurdly comfortable beds and staff who act like they've had caffeine IVs. The location is almost too central, making it dangerously easy to spend all your money. A great stay, just beware of the dangerously comfortable pillows.
