Quality Inn & Suites Golden - Denver West

I've been coming to this location for over a year now and it's a wonderful place to stay! The staff are professional & polite! The🏊‍♀️ pool and spa are clean &working properly every single time! The rooms 🛌are clean and smell great. Breakfast☕️ is always on time! And ......it's affordable! 5☆☆☆☆☆ in my book 💯

Noori at the front desk has been extremely accommodating. Fatimah has been very helpful as well. I have been here at the Quality Inn & Suites Golden for nearly a month now. I have not had but a couple of minor issues and any issue I have had, the ladies at the front desk promptly addressed and resolved. The housekeeping and maintenance staff (Carmen, Maria, Luz, and Carlos) are courteous and do a fantastic job keeping my room, the building, and the grounds clean. Anything I have needed to make my stay enjoyable; the cleaning and maintenance staff have provided. I have been able to get as much rest as I needed and still have been able to be productive and connected to my job thanks to the complimentary Wi-Fi. I also am grateful for the continental breakfast. Positive: The staff was very nice and the breakfast the next morning was good. The bed was comfortable and clean. Negative: The pool area was disappointing. When you walked into where the pool was you were met with a very unpleasant odor that made staying in that area and swimming next to impossible.

If there was an equivalent to plain toast of hotels, this would be it. The location is convenient, the prices are reasonable. I probably wouldn't stay here again, as I was only using the hotel as a quick way for me to recover in peace and quiet after my eye surgery. Instead I was asked to be a translator between a repair man and the hostess (I'm not good with Spanish either; I'm basically a 3 year old with access to duolingo). The hotel gives Sketchy-part-of-town-lock-your-car vibes, and if I wasn't deliberately just going there to pass out (which still took way too long because of aforementioned squabble) I probably would've been significantly more critical. EDIT: The manager heard about our issues and came upstairs to check on us and figure out the situation. She was so kinda and apologetic without throwing her employee under the bus, she seems like a lovely manager. After helping us, she told us about her grandkids and showed us photos. Very, very kind and I feel like that deserves an edit. ----- Clean room, horrible service. I checked in mostly fine, had issues with my digital ID but we figure it out. The girl (assistant manager, i guess) told me that she could just use my card on file for the deposit, I had offered cash. The next day, I went to get another night and a different woman at the front told me thats fine but she can't charge my card on file. Fine, I have cash.
