Quality Inn & Suites Franklin

Great front desk staff. They deserve a 100% raise. But I’m not sure the owners will appreciate all the hard work the front desk puts in to make breakfast, check in and check out, supply rooms with linens, etc. Convenient location in town. Don’t like that the second building is disconnected. But, the rooms are terrible for the price. Maybe I would be okay with these rooms for $20/night. But $150/night?! What a joke. The owners are probably landlords mentally because they haven’t invested anything to improve this property. Old everything. Rusty. Damp. Lame. Very few breakfast options of low quality ingredients (like green bananas and frozen eggs). But the owners know there basically no other hotel options in town so the market is distorted in their favor.

Our first room smelled like it had been smoked in, they moved us to the room directly above and that didn’t smell as strongly of smoke but smelled very musty and like mildew. There were people hanging out and smoking and cooking on portable grills out of the backs of their trucks until very late at night, then all night long we heard loud music and banging around outside. The linens on our bed were disgustingly dirty with brown stains on the white comforter.

This place smells old moldy tv didn’t work properly nobody cared  to many people lingering outside room trash along stairway. Needs renovation

Afternoon male clerk did not know what he was talking about and said there was heat coming out of the heater. It was luck warm not hot. At 4:30 AM the room was only at 72 and it was set on 80. Joyce on the day shift was wonderful. You need to do what it takes to make sure she stays. The night shift lady when out of her way to make sure I had heat in my room at 4:30 AM by bringing me a space heater. The maintenance man was great also.

I appreciate that my room was well cleaned, and the front desk staff were lovely. However, my room was extremely dated, and the pull out mattress was badly stained. They provide only two towels for the room, so you have to call and ask for more.
