Quality Inn & Suites Downtown Walla Walla

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very dated but clean. Plenty of nice fresh towels and all the bedding was very clean. My only complaint was it smelled moldy and musty, and the bathroom fan was insanely loud.

I booked at this Quality Inn because the rate was $10 less per night than the Comfort Inn that I usually stay at. I am 79 and did not request an accessible room as I get around quite well. When I arrived I was assigned room 304 which is one floor above the lobby that is at ground level. Having checked in, I went with my bags down the hall looking for the elevator to the 3rd floor. I couldn't find one so returned to the front desk to ask where the elevator was. Unbelievably I was told that there was no elevator! How could a multi-floor Choice hotel not have an elevator??? I get along well for my age, but my knees are giving up on me! There were 14 steep steps to the 3rd floor that nearly did me in. Positive: "" Negative: Everything just looked “tired”. The bathtub did not drain correctly and there was at 4” of soapy water in it after showering. Towels were small and a bit tattered. Breakfast had no gluten free options and didn’t even have oatmeal, a hotel standard.

Avoid this place it’s ran down, heaters don’t work, pool is not 24 hrs like it is stated on website, management is literally the most disrespectful I’ve ever dealt with! Also they like to try and swipe your card multiple times for no reason so beware! Very loud as well guest run up and down the hallway yelling, when presenting this issue to front desk they threatened to call the cops on me. They literally said we got your money already you can deal with it….

We were there for a swim meet. We had to switch rooms 3 times. The first room - when he pulled out the sofa hide a bed, it was dirty. 2 bottle caps and wrappers were left inside. Went to the next room the carpet was not vacuumed, the toilet had dark grime on the inside bowl, and the counters were sticky. We stuck with the 3rd room, overall cleanliness was bad. Our daughters room had ants in the bathroom. We havent stayed there in over 4 years and this place has really gone downhill. We will never stay there again and our team will find another hotel to stay at in the future.
