Quality Inn & Suites Creedmoor - Butner

The location is ok. Lots of loud traffic and construction and rooms are not sealed. We had to ask for a different room as the first we were given stunk like marijuana real bad. The desk clerk was offended that we asked to move even though we did it immediately after entering the first room. They bill your credit card for bogus charges and will argue with you if you tell them to remove the charge. The front lobby smells... weird. Lots of emergency sirens all night. We werent on vacation but even so, a good nights sleep wouldve been nice. But you wont get that here.

Horrible man working the first desk. I mean nothing by this, just for clarity, he is the Indian man. He had zero empathy for someone in a bad situation whom I was just trying to help and actually suggested I drive to the hotel(an hour drive for me) to pay a deposit because they “don’t take cards over the phone.” I’m sure.

THERE WAS NO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM. The room was nice, the bed was good, the fridge and microwave were nice bonuses. But NO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM is a deal breaker. That's gross. I tried calling the front desk 3x in 45 min. No one ever picked up. The hotel's not THAT busy to explain why no one could answer. And with the dogs, running down there wasn't a simple task.

Good enough for one night as we had a late flight into Charlotte and had to drive to Norfolk. Convenient location and didn’t feel unsafe. However, need a better system for snacks/drinks. Please accept card payment for those items

Positive: Staff were courteous & friendly. Negative: I was told that I would be sleeping in a queen size bed. It was a double. The room smelled of either cleaning chemicals or bug spray. Breakfast was minimal with. The only "hot" part were the waffles. No eggs of any kind.
