Baymont by Wyndham Creedmoor

Do yourself a favor, and don't stay here. On initial entry and check-in, nothing particularly alarming. Very strong smell of curry and food when walking to my room on the 2nd floor. Previous reviews were not kidding about the presence of birds being kept in the hallway. It appears that some of the housekeeping staff is (permanently?) staying in some of the rooms - no idea on the legality of that, but that's where the smell appears to be originating. In my room, strong smell of food remained. Rooms were recently renovated, but sloppily done. Room was not cleaned well, excess dust and debris could be found on shelving and tabletops. Bedsheets were literally damp, and the A/C was not sufficient to reduce the temperature or humidity to an acceptable level. Bathroom was dirty and had a silve

I booked the Baymont by Wyndham as a last minute booking while traveling. I will say the room was very very clean. I don’t mind an older hotel as long as it’s clean. It was worn, and older but clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but even then… it’s just a cheaper hotel. I didn’t need 5 stars. The next morning the hotel lost power. I was in the process of dressing to leave. I turned off the shower, in pitch black and tried to make my way to the window to open the curtains for some sun light to dress. When I did, I saw about 10 police cars, and police officials looking right at me. I understand they don’t have control over the power but even a small generator for client safety would be nice…. Upon check out, the woman at the counter was so preoccupied talking on her cell phone

Positive: The location, the room was clean, the bed was comfy. Negative: TV remote difficult to operate, mirror over the sink so high I could only see the top half of my head, the outlets by the sink did not work, made it difficult for me to fix my hair. No sugar in breakfast area and could not find help.

The property used to be a Quality Inn. The new owners are renovating as time and money allows.|| The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Each room has a flat screen tv, microwave, and refrigerator. In season a pool is available. There is a small workout room as well.|| The free breakfast is adequate, two kinds of dry cereal, coffee, milk, juice and a waffle machine.|| I was here 11 nights. And had no complaints. The manager was very friendly and responsive. There are several fast food outlets nearby with many different menu choices.|| This is not the Waldorf. Just a basic motel with good beds and staff.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from the moment I arrive. The staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable with all the little details throughout the bed was cozy and I had a great night sleep. The amenities were top-notch everything from the lobby to the dining area felt well maintained and welcome. The breakfast was fresh delicious and I also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the atmosphere was what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family, and I look forward to staying here again every month when I travel from P
