Quality Inn & Suites Canon City

This is my second time staying here and I have been pleasantly surprised both times. Spotless rooms, nice staff, and good breakfast. Being right next to a Walmart is really nice too. The woman with the long blond hair and pretty eyeshadow during the 3-11 shift was really nice and welcoming.

If I could rate the customer service at a zero star I would. Staff double charged our account and when I talked to them about it they argued and said we were wrong and that all the charges were correct. We stayed 4 nights. From day one that we checked in our patio door wasn’t closing all the way at the top. We asked them to come fix our patio door the day we checked in and we even asked many more times for them to fix it. We were told that someone would come fix it multiple times but no one ever did come to fix it. Wanted the door fixed so the room wasn’t so cold at night and so the room was safe for our baby. The hotel itself isn’t all that clean itself the carpet in the hallways are coming up all over in places throughout the hotel. Over all wouldn’t recommend this hotel and will never

Sketchy place, really run down, our room was very noisy from people drinking from the bar. The rooms are outdated with old heating units that look like they were never cleaned. For the price I would recommend staying at any of the other hotels. Be careful walking to the breakfast not to trip over the carpet.

I did not have hot water for my 2 day stay. The staff suggested that I turn on the sink and bath water simultaneously and flush the toilet and it did not work. Lukewarm water was the result and upon check out, the manager "JP" got hot water only after 15 minutes of losing precious water. No apologies were extended or financial compensation offered for my inconvenience . I have always stayed at the property for over 30 years and the pool also being unavailable, added insult to injury. The front desk staff and breakfast cook, were very hard working and accommodating; management less so.

Positive: Easy access to the hotel and close to shopping (Walmart). The names of the movie stars that stayed in the rooms. Negative: The bathroom was small and not clean. The bathtub had a bar of opened soap in the shower, the tub was not clean. The tissue holder in the bathroom was rusted. Paint was old, the overall condition of the room was dingey. The coffee creamer tasted sour
