Quality Inn Seneca US-123

Nice hotel. Clean rooms and within walking distance to restaurants. The surrounding area was a little noisy. Staff was friendly and the coffee was good in the lobby.

It had its good and bad points.. Good - it was easy to check in, clean, bedding was comfortable, price for the night. Bad - no mirrors outside the bathroom so you have to wait your turn, saw a big roach just above my bed, noisy in the morning with dog yapping outside the room at 7am. I would gladly pay more next time to avoid the roach and noise.. so I doubt I would book another stay.

I recently visited this property for a second time in late May for another brief visit to the Seneca/Clemson area. While it's an older, exterior corridor inn, it's also clean and recently renovated. It's an excellent value-priced lodging option - even if you'll want to venture out for breakfast, as that is lacking.||||||My room for this stay was 119, a king bed room on the first floor. Like my last stay, the room was clean, in very good condition, and with everything working. The wi-fi required a reset only once daily, which is acceptable - and hopefully the new norm for Quality Inn, where some locations have required too-frequent re-authorizations in the past.||||My only real complaint has to do with breakfast. No hot meat is one thing, but I couldn't even get my go-to cold breakfast item

We are locals. My husband's workplace has booked several rooms for their employees due to Ice Storm. My husband was so excited to share it with me over the phone that we were going to have a staycation and it's all company paid. We were happy because I was thinking that probably a safe place for us during the Ice Storm since they probably have generators if the power goes out, we didn't have to worry. That's all our concern. I didn't know any details about the bookings, all I had was the email. The check-in was easy. The staff was quite nice but that all change when she came to my room while we were unpacking and asked me how many were in the room, she was on the phone, I assumed talking to a manager. Absolutely terrible experience with check in/ out !!!! Upon checking in I was immediately told I had to pay a $200 deposit for our dog, which I did, even though I had already secured the reservation with my credit card, which I know means that this was unnecessary. I also stated that I wished to pay using my debit card, however they charged both cards, admittedly reversing the charge made to my debit card (which I didn't want, but decided to let it go since there had been so much confusion) I was eventually refunded the wrongfully charged pet deposit of $200 but had to wait several days for that. Two weeks later I see they have now charged my credit card an additional $203 without my knowledge & claim I was undercharged & this was to make up the difference. This hotel was convenient for us
