Lakeside Lodge Clemson - Hotel & Resort

Beautiful Place! The bed is so comfortable and the pillows are perfect! The shower is upscale and has lots of room. When you first walk in the lobby it smells so amazing. The lovely scent continues throughout the hallways of the hotel. We will definitely make plans to come back and stay here. A perfect nights sleep. The staff are friendly. Very clean hotel.

Horrible. I paid a very high price to be in a room right over the bar/nightclub. The bass of the music is shaking my room and we can hear people singing. Zero cares given by staff. Rooms are ok at best … low budget for price. This is second bad experience. Thought the first was a fluke. Never again.

Positive: Clean, very beautifully set up and awesome scenery around the hotel. Restuarant is a 10 of 10 rating in my opinion! Negative: One staff member could have been a lot more courteous and kinder in her approach with guest.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Gage was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Additionally, the bartenders were dismissive when we tried to order. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 star is that Jess at the front desk was incredible and handled our situation with professionalism and grace! If I could rate her separately she would get 5/5! Unfortunately, the other employees overshadowed our experience. We will not be back again.

I stay more than 100 nights a year in a hotel, and I have never experienced a resort as poorly managed as LakeSide Lodge in Clemson. There is a complete lack of direction and leadership. I stayed for three nights, and every time I entered or exited the lobby, the front desk staff were scrolling on their phones. On one occasion, I waited over four minutes to request shampoo while the employee continued scrolling through Instagram. The staff were consistently impolite and clearly lack basic hospitality training. Housekeeping was virtually nonexistent. When we checked in the floor had crushed chips and peanuts all over. The only service provided was fresh towels tossed onto the floor. Despite this minimal service, housekeeping managed to throw away our bathing suits, which were placed in a
