Quality Inn Rockport on Aransas Bay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a beautiful sea view that made our stay truly special. The staff was polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and well managed. The hotel’s sea-facing location is perfect, offering easy access to the beach and stunning views throughout the day. The overall the service exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a great sea view. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Positive: The fishing pier was nice and had lights for night fishing. Negative: The staff could be a little more friendly. Breakfast was not bad but not great. Towels had stains. Told staff and was told they do the best they can. Have to ask for daily room service.

The room was very clean. Nice location right on the water!! Caught lots of speckled trout right off the pier!! Good hot breakfast and really helpful employees. Definitely recommend and you can’t beat it for the price.

So....I always book hotels based on reviews and after staying here, I was shocked the reviews were so high. The rooms are dirty. We had to move rooms after the first because of noise in the room next to us (not the hotels fault...the TV was just loud), but the room wasn't super clean. The next room had a sticky floor. It was like someone had spilled something. It was late, we went to sleep and the next morning I told the front desk and they assured me they'd get someone to come in an mop it up. We were out all day and when we returned, the floor was still sticky and gross. I took some pictures headed back down the front desk and she told me they mopped it up. When I explained they didn't, she told me they didn't have any housekeeping staff at the moment but would get me a mop so I could it

I had high hopes for this stay because of the location near the water, and I will say the sunrise was beautiful. That was definitely the highlight. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. When we walked in, it smelled heavily of air freshener, but it was obvious it was covering up cigarette and marijuana smoke. Outside the room there were multiple signs about not leaving cigarette butts, yet there were at least half a dozen right in front of our door. The bed was very uncomfortable, the hair dryer was broken but usable, and the air conditioner never properly cooled the room down. The breakfast met expectations of a typical continental breakfast. No food is allowed to leave the food area though, the water dispenser can't be used to fill up you own reusable container and not allo
