Quality Inn Perry - National Fairgrounds Area

The accommodations were very nice. It was clean and neat. It looked like it may have been updated recently. New carpet, new shower, walls painted nicely. The exterior was neat and clean also. Breakfast was good and seating area clean and neat, chairs upholstery looked new. Staff was kind and helpful

Positive: Easy access to i75 and friendly staff. Negative: The mattress was sinking in on one side and stuff throughout. You could feel the springs. The waffle makers hadn't been cleaned from previous days. They had two waffle makers and both had a layer of burned batter.

Good: nice pool and hot tub-jets don’t work, but it’s hot (and towels). Full breakfast. Lots of TV channels. Chick-fil-a and Popeye’s next door. Nice evening receptionist. Cracker Barrel 5 minutes down the highway. Both Chick & Cracker sell breakfast. Bad: strong urine smell and yellow running off the cloth shower curtain when I turned on the shower. Thick spider cob webs in the corners where the hangers are to hang up your clothes to let the wrinkles fall out overnight. Breakfast too gross to eat. Even the single size yogurt hadn’t been properly refrigerated, it wasn’t expired, but obviously bad when opened. It wasn’t immediately refrigerated when transported from the store to their refrigerator. Really bad: we left at 8:30 AM to take a rental car back. We came back at 9:15 AM and our d

As a gold member who stays at this particular hotel probably close to 20 days a year I was not greeted but basically told that I was an inconvenience. I showed up 45 mins early for my reservation and asked very politely would there be any chance I could go ahead and check in because I wouldn’t be able to be back to check in until around 10:00 pm. I was told no that I had to wait until 3:00. She didn’t look up from her phone from where she was sittin in the breakfast area, she didn’t ask me my name or if I was a Memeber nor did she even look to see if any rooms were available. Now I understand the times and policies but I also know that as a gold member you do get some perks and I do think a 45 mins early check in time would have been acceptable. The room needed updating. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly. Had I closed it I would had been stuck in there. Found a roach thank goodness it was dead. Several spiders that weren’t. The mattress wasn’t all the way up against the headboard so as I looked to see why saw a lot of crumbs and other things including a bug. It needed definitely to be vacuumed and cleaned properly: I told the manager on duty the next morning. I’m not mad just think for the price that we paid something should had been adjusted. The water was also not able to be used in the city which wasn’t the hotels fault They did give us 3 bottles of water which we had to use to drink and brush our teeth. They said we could shower but it was very concerning: not sure if I’m going to stay here again but hope if I did i
