Quality Inn Oakwood - Gainesville

Staff is super nice! I’ve stayed there 3 times and never had an issue until last night. Room 205 doesn’t have a shaded curtain nor did I have towels. Other than that it’s great and I’ll be there again next week!

My standards are low, but this was by far thr worst place Ive ever stayed. Junked furniture everywhere. Room hadnt been vacuumed in ages because "the vacuum cleaner doesnt work". Roaches in the room. Milk that expired five says ago for breakfast, with only old cold cereal & ancient undated yogurt for food. Was yelled at by aggressive staff for trying to fill up a normal-sized coffee cup. Was told the coffee is complementary so I am only allowed to have a tiny paper cup full. The room was absolutely filthy. There were cigarette ashes on the TV remote. There was nothing in the room – no wastebasket, no alarm clock no nothing only one working outlet in the whole room. There was construction debris everywhere, and the staircases are falling apart. Beyond basic. Rooms are adequately clean. Location is somewhat convenient. However there were no tissues or cups in the room. The hair dryer didn't work. The vending machines were empty and or out of order. The "breakfast" had a toaster but nothing to go into it. The juice dispenser didn't work. The ice machine was out of service. The curtains are very thin...lots of light all night. The room had no place to put a suitcase and no drawers and only one trash can....beyond basic

Nice little quirky motel. If it wasn't for the fact it was a little bit of a pain to find it be 5 all across.... Well and the hole in the comforter. But other than that the staff was friendly even for a later check in. And when I brought up the comforter it was an immediate fix with no attitude. The prices are fair too. Other than that very nice and pleasant stay

Some minor issues with the light in the room. But all in all great stay. Friendly staff. Room was clean. It was as advertised.
