Quality Inn Mill Hall - Lamar

We were well and graciously accommodated along with our dog on a snowy night. The room was clean enough and well-equipped. We appreciated the breakfast buffet the next day. The room could benefit from some deeper cleaning of mold on the bathtub caulk.

The room was disgustingly filthy. Need to hire a new maintenance person. The plate was off the wall where the cable comes in. The floor was filthy, smoke detector hanging from the ceiling. Lamp shades broken. Toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. End table between the beds was dirty, something was spilt down the side. Bathroom door where the knob was filthy. One lamp not working. AC would not turn off. Paint chips on the wall and doors. O have pictures of this disgusting room. Wish we walked out and went to the Hamilton next door but was too exhausted.

The price was good, location was good, thankful for the availability but: 1.) the room was very dirty: stuff on the floors like it hadn’t been swept in a long time, blanket had stains, everything was dusty, shower was gross, walls had stuff on them, floor by bed was sticky. 2.) desk staff was efficient but not very friendly. 3.) I had no idea there was breakfast until I was dropping off my key to leave- staff didn’t tell me anything when I checked in. 4.) tv kept losing signal & going blank. 5.) had to put a chair against the curtain to keep it closed because you could see the room from outside and the curtain didn’t go all the way past the window.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It looked run-down and abandoned and something was just very "off" about it. Almost like it had been shut down for 6 months and they just re-opened it when we got there. There were issues with cleanliness, climate control and the fans (both the bathroom fan and the one for the heating system). It was like noise torture and we barely slept. Additionally, only a few buttons on the remote for the TV actually worked. You had to walk up to the TV and reach behind the side to turn it on/off, control the volume and change channels. Additionally, the back door leading from the parking lot to enter our hotel corridor wouldn't latch unless you pulled it shut and heard the click. Not secure at all. The price was low by 2026 standards but it was still $120

Rooms were clean. However, the heater didn't not work properly. Around 3AM the heater started making a horrible noise. We had to turn it off. Then it got cold (temp outside was 20°). No extra blankets in the room.
