Lock Haven Grandview Hotel

We picked this hotel because of its good reviews, but we were disappointed. The first room appeared clean but when we turned down the covers there was hair and stains on the sheets. They moved us promptly. In the second room the refrigerator, microwave and counters were dirty(I cleaned them Covid training). There is a large kitchen island with no chairs to eat at. There are no deadbolts on the door and the privacy notch on the door did not work. Having the couch right near the heater made it difficult to hear the tv. The beds were clean but the bathroom door and handle was dirty. There were restaurants in the area but no sidewalks. For $200 a night with no amenities no dishes, silverware, paper towels, hair dryer - you would expect the room to be cleaned thoroughly.

This place was great for a quick weekend stay. Will check this o e out first next time I'm in the area.

This is a nice motel with beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Our room did smell like someone had smoked in it and one of the beds had a stain on the sheet. We had chosen this place because of the high ratings so that was a little unexpected.

My wife and I stayed due to her traveling for work. Upon arrival the rooms were very clean and had zero smell which we loved. The sizes of the rooms were absolutely great! My favorite was having an actual kitchen (we don’t usually have access to these things in smaller hotels). Every last one of the staff members were amazing as well. The manager was super accommodating as we arrived sooner than anticipated but she worked miracles. If we are ever back in the area we will for sure be staying here again. Keep up the amazing work, you know what you’re doing!

After reading the other reviews, I would have to agree with the other 5 star ones. Our room was clean, recently updated and spacious. I would like to add that even though it had a full kitchen, it was bare. It was unusable for a traveler passing through. It didn’t have any plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pots pans, etc. The accommodations are better suited for people staying in town for an extended visit that know to bring their own supplies. Other things lacking was air conditioning in the bedroom. (We went to Walmart across the street and purchased a small fan to blow the cool air in from the living room). No TV in the bedroom, only one in the living room. No hair dryer in the bathroom. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great place to stay. I just want to inform people that it’s not the “
