Quality Inn Manitowoc

Good location, but the service was mediocre and the room was DISGUSTING. stains on the sheets, blankets, bed skirts, lampshades, you name it. Room smelled like an ashtray. Heat/AC vent was caked in dust. Crumbs all over the floor. And a BUG crawled across my pillow at 11pm! I would have left and demanded a refund but it was my last night and I was tired so I just slept with the lights on and prayed there were no more bugs. Absolutely disgusting place. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money, and stay at the HI next door.

Bed was fine, AC/Heat worked without a lot of noise, the room was clean and quiet. Enjoyed the hard surface floors, and the fridge/freezer was ample. Nothing was lacking, But, there were a few factors that cheapened the room. The desk chair upholstery was badly worn, the window treatment likewise looked very outdated and past its useful life, and some items in the bathroom showed signs of neglect-- a missing screw in the tub, the door bumper was damaged, and the wall area under the new shower curtain needs repair.

Good low-priced hotel, basic amenities, but could use a little TLC. We used to stay at the Econolodge downtown, but that's now closed, so looks like the Quality Inn is the new go-to budget hotel. It's located in a convenient area just off the Interstate and near Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. It offers a basic breakfast with cereal, pastries, toast, yogurts, apples, coffee and juice, as well as a waffle maker. It doesn't have a pool but has a workout room. The staff is friendly, but the property could use some TLC. Our room refrigerator was lopsided and hard to close, and our window shade was very dirty. Otherwise, the location felt safe, and definitely a good price. If you keep your expectations to a minimum, this is a good option.

I have been staying there for years. The rooms have gone done hill in cleanliness, smell like cigarette smoke, drywall damage that has been patched terribly, tv's don't work often, smell like pot a lot of times. People working there aren't sociable. Extremely disappointed. Will never stay there again

Positive: Price Negative: Room didnt meet what the halls/lobby looked like. Bathroom door was filthy had stains writing. Shower dispenser had mildew, toilet bowl was cracked. Bathroom smelled. Both top blankets had grease like stains, one wall had black splatter. Dirty sheets
