Quality Inn

I left a review for this horrible stay on Booking.com and I was going to leave it at that but since they replied with a blatant lie I will come here since I can respond to responses here. Attached is their response from the original review. I arrived in town from STL and checked in this hotel around 1 am. I was in town for my uncles memorial and it was me, my best friend and my kids; which I have a 1 year old. Once we got in from being on the road 8 hours of course he was ready to stretch out and run around. We had been there about 20 min when the front desk clerk came and asked us to keep it down because they got a noise complaint about someone running around and he claimed to be able to hear people talking from the hallway which is understandable seeing that this building is old and the

Kicked out because a Karen got mad at us because we were in the pool when her kids were in the pool to. She complained multiple times for no reason. Rooms we terrible smelled like pot. The bath tub was stained. We were playing Marco Polo and we got yelled at for splashing. This lady said we were getting water on her and her things.

After a long day of traveling….. we didn’t even end up staying the night because of how BAD our experience was. |First half the lights didn’t work, my friend went to use the bathroom to tinkle and the toilet wouldn’t flush. We tried to contact the front desk but the phone line was disconnected… so we went up to the front desk to notify someone. This unfortunately happened around midnight so the one staff member that was running the hotel couldn’t fix the toilet and couldn’t promise us that it would be fixed tomorrow morning. A manager was not on-site for the whole weekend. Moments later we noticed bugs crawling on my friends purse… immediately felt unsanitary and uncomfortable to sleep overnight and since there were so many things going on around the city, we couldn’t find another hotel t

Rates were about the same as all the other hotels around. However, for the price, the room should have looked a lot better. Very old, things were chipped and curtains were dirty. The bathroom floor still had hair on it from previous people. When I called to book the room, front desk person did not ask for a credit card at all. He did know my address, from previous stays at quality Inn. While I was driving day of check in, I was called by hotel saying they tried to run my card and it was denied. First, why are you trying to run my card before I’m even there. Never have had that happen before. Second, I have no idea what card was on file, since I never gave it. I told her I would be there at 7pm, and I would give her the correct card then. Once there they asked again if they should run card

Good things: The room was clean, it was quiet, well appointed, comfortable beds, check-in easy Bad things: Only toast, cold cereal, and waffle mix for breakfast for the two weekend days we were staying there. We went out each morning to purchase a real breakfast at a diner.
