Imperial Inn Grand Blanc

We stayed there for 1 night with my 6yo and did not have any problems. No bedbugs or roaches, no intimidating noises from other rooms. My daughter was having meltdowns until almost 3am, screaming from top of her lungs and I was afraid to be scolded by neighbors and staff but fortunately - nobody reacted. Now, everybody who leaves angry 1 star reviews, should just count their blessings, or take a look at the room before moving in and paying, nobody makes you stay there at the gunpoint! Place is cheap as hell, and that's what brought you there, so don't act like you paid $750 for Waldorf Astoria with golden bathroom, and got the room in Imperial Inn for $60 flat, with all fees. If you are praying for the rain, be ready for the mud too. Decision is yours, there are always vacancies in $200+

This motel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. After checking in and seeing the room, I was tempted to just sleep in my car. This place was the only available hotel/motel in the Grand Blanc area that had any availability due to a Champion's golf event nearby. My bad for not booking earlier. The parking lot is full of potholes, which should have been my first clue to how bad things were going to be. The door to the room was rotting in the bottom and the deadbolt was misaligned and could not be used. The stench in the room was overpowering. It smelt like a dozen people had smoked pot in there right before I went in. It was so bad that all my clothes and my CPAP machine stank of that odor and everything had to be washed later. Stayed here many times. Staff is always courteous and accommodating. Today I go in there to get a room for two nights. The office is dark and you cannot see in. I ring the bell and the receptionist bellows out in a rude spleel in some sort of incoherent mush mouth language. Then she continues being a rude and nasty. I was like you know what I will go elsewhere. Found a better rate and way better hotel up the road.

5 star rating is for office staff, Kim in particular. She has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND in assisting me with the issues that I'm currently experiencing. I cannot commend her enough. Very patient, kind, understanding and is non judgemental. Truly a good hearted person. Thanks Kim for everything! I hope the kindness you've shown me comes back to you 10 fold. Bless you!
