Quality Inn Flamingo

Reserved a Jr suite with 2 queen beds. Then paid an Additional fee for AC which I thought was weird. What room in a brand name hotel charges a fee for AC. I should have cancelled reservation then. Arrived at the Hotel and was very disappointed at the structure. The room I given was located on the third floor with no Elevator access. I’m disabled with Handicap Parking plates on my car I can’t walk up stairs especially 3 floors. They gave me another room on the street level that wasn’t comparable to what I paid for. The room even though it looked recently renovated smelled like mildew. The beds weren’t queen size beds. The ice machine was in a storage room which looked unsafe and unsanitary. BEDBUGS! BEWARE! Not only were we forced to leave the hotel in the middle of the night due to a bedbug infestation, the manager refuses to refund me since we didn't find the bed bugs into we got into bed at night. Horrible service and complete lack of accountability here. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If the bedbugs don't get you, the crackhead smoking on the steps all night will.

The person at the front desk was polite & helpful. Upon entering the room it was freezing. The heating system was unplugged! After about 3 hours at 90 degrees it became tolerable. We ordered food to be delivered from a menu in the room. Couldn't thoroughly enjoy it because we were wrapped up in our coats and blankets. Unfortunately that wasn't the worst part!! We checked in 1/17 and checked out 1/19. It wasn't until after we checked out that my sister and I realized we had been bitten by BED BUGS. I'm so disgusted just thinking about it. Housekeeping and maintenance were great. However, desk did not provide service promised, and were disrespectful. That's why the service score is so low. Veer called me "gramps" several times, when "madam"would have sufficed. Better yet, he could have called me by my name, he was holding a paper in his hand with my name on it. Although, I booked a handicap room and confirmed it before arriving in several ways, even receiving an email confirmation from Quality Inn. I was given a regular room with a high tub and a preschool level toilet. So, I had to move (in pain). Items were left in the frig, twice, by the desk person who was supposed to help me. Not my fault; I did everything I could to confirm room. Left out in cold twice (in pain). Keys did not work. When they did work, I had to swip

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk “Vir”(excuse the spelling) was kind and helpful. Our door for our assigned room didn’t work and he walked us up personal make sure our new room was ok everything was in working order. The breakfast area was clean and the food choices were good.
