Quality Inn Downtown Stuart

We stayed for almost 2 weeks. Staff here couldn’t have been better. Every single one, from desk clerks to maids, was friendly and professional. Our room was clean and fresh towels were brought daily. 4 stars rather than 5 is because the hotel itself could use some updating, but really, for the price, it’s a safe, friendly place to stay. Flannigan’s next door is a real plus. They have great food and we got a 10% discount with our room key.

As a frequent traveler & a longtime Hospitality employee ( South Seas Resorts , United Airlines ) I know how very important dedicated employees are in making vacation times not only enjoyable but a stay that memories are made of . I can honestly say that the entire workforce at this Stuart, Fl property is superior ! Debbie ( front desk ) concierge- greets all with a magnificent Smile and genuine kindness to accommodate any needs/requests. Melissa & the entire family of sweet faces work flawlessly together to insure that the rooms are exceptionally clean and welcoming , checking with guests multi times daily to accommodate any needs , always with such kindness . This is a marvelous older motel that has been partially renovated. Great restaurant and bar next door. It gets a really bad rap on reviews. There are no bugs. No smell. Clean carpet. Comfy beds. Nice staff. Best value in Stuart, FL. I admit that I was very worried after reading the reviews. But I was very happily surprised! If a little bit of rust on the tissue holder, or a painted over dent in the drywall, or a slightly crooked switch plate is going to bother you, if you like to complain about free Continental Breakfast.....pay more at a less convenient location with powdered eggs and sausage patties. I really like this place for it's location and having a Flanigan's next door for drinks without driving, but the place needs some serious updating. Our 1st floor room was so stuffy with no air flow after you shut the door, no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the sliders are nailed shut, our comforter should have been replaced due to stains. The price was right and the owner and staff were very sweet and even offered fresh bagels that were not out so they wouldn't harden up. Breakfast was simple but filling with waffles, toast yogurts, cereals and coffee and juices. They also give you 10% off with your key card at Flanagan's. I would stay here again.

We had no problems checking in slightly early. Debby at front desk is warm, open and friendly. You can see she enjoys her job and that makes a difference. We had some miscommunication about our dog but it got cleared up without any issues.Room is sufficient, some marks on the ceiling , you can see some wear and tear , and some cracks here and there. Like most motels water pressure could be a bit better, but nothing to really complain about. Seems quite neat and clean also, even the lobby is pristine. I think the staff is their saving grace. We have only been here for a few hours, so we'll see what the rest of the week brings, but we'd most likely come here again.
