Quality Inn Decatur near US-224

Nothing is being kept up or improved there…it’s getting so run down. I’ve stayed several times and every time it gets worse. Last summer the pool was under construction, this time it’s still void of water and I was told that area will be turned into a meeting room—you should update the website. There was mold on the bathroom wall and most of the shower water goes out the bottom. We stayed 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned. I think I’ll need to find a different hotel in Decatur…For $100 a night it’s disgusting

The front desk did not know how to handle a reservation made from a third party, like Expedia, so after paying Expedia, I also had to pay them, then they ran my card twice, a week later and they still have a 127.12 hold on my debit card. FYI, there is no pool, well, it's there but the front desk stated that it's been empty for over a year, update your Google ad then ppl. The tub faucet is welded so that you can only shower, which was upsetting to my daughter who wanted to take a bath. Won't stay there again.

Large room with a king bed & a jacuzzi tub that fits 4 persons!!! I’m shocked - This is the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in with Quality Inn!!! (And I travel a lot!) Our suite had a mini fridge, microwave, a bathtub/shower combo, a desk with chair, an armchair, five lamps, and a spacious jacuzzi hot tub. They also use a water treatment system so your skin doesn’t dry out. And…. there’s a nightlight by the sink so you don’t have to turn the light in the middle of the night when you go pee!!! I’M STILL SHOCKED BY ALL THIS LUXURY! (This suite was much better than the timeshare we were at last week in Florida!) I visited with many family members. The staff were very kind and accommodating. I appreciated the care they gave all of us, but especially our elderly loved ones. They didn’t mind that we sat in the lobby until late, telling stories and laughing.

On their website and the main reason I chose to stay there was because they had a pool. When we arrived, pool was empty, and I was told quite rudely " we closed it down 9 months ago". Maybe they should put on their website, " no pool". Place was rundown, needed many repairs. Continental breakfast was terrible. The only good thing I have to say about this place is the house keeping staff was great. We stayed there 3 days and every evening when we returned, the room was spotless, extra towels and a fresh made bed. We have stayed there 2 years in a row but I will never be back.
