Matador Inn

I love this place. It gets suck a bad rep and people say horrible things but none of its true. The owners are amazing. Such nice people. The rooms a clean. Ive never seen a cockroach or a bed bug ever. Its quite everyone is helpful and nice. Just a great place. I have no complaints.

Matador inn employees are very kind and sweet they are family here and they are family to me this is a very small community that we are looking to bring out better things to all who need the Lord in their life and we are start a great group session for people who have addictions and a group session for veterans.... Please come and join for great people come to the Matador and see us we are here for you... Let's start a new beginning start up a new future...

Cant beat price alot of people tend to talk shit about owner but there is no one else helping people on the verge of being homeless in Decatur area rooms aren't perfect but I have never seen or delt with bugs besides flys this is no roach motel and he dose a lot to help people any way he can he also runs a church off of 10th street there some nefarious people but a few really decent people that live here to be honst i get better service here than motel down the road and about 550 less dollars a week allways hot water

The only thing it has going for it is the lowest price in the area. TV only got 4 channels with no remote and with no screens on windows so opening them for fresh air also invited insects. A lot of monthly renters, mostly obviously low income with bad credit. The bright spot, the owners are wonderful people and do keep the grounds in good condition, but having decent TV and perhaps a phone in the room would go a long way in adding value to my stay.

It was very runned down. Dirty, an estimate for awash clothe and towel.Only one set for two people. One channel on tv, ceiling cracked paint peeling, thin comforter, thin sheet, and a stained scratchy bottom sheet. One spotted pillow case, no case on the other pillow. Parking lot needed to have piles of snow removed for more parking options.Asked for non smoking room assured it wasn't one, gagged. When opened door. Stay at your own risk!
