Came here for a peaceful weekend and left with PTSD from a raccoon stealing my granola. The ‘clean’ bathrooms had more mysteries than my high school locker, and apparently the firewood comes with free splinters. The hiking trails are basically nature’s obstacle course—fell twice, lost a shoe, and may have been briefly adopted by a family of chipmunks. Saw more bugs than stars, the squirrels are clearly running a mafia, and the Wi-Fi… oh wait, there isn’t any. If you enjoy unexpected wildlife attacks, questionable bathrooms, and a strong chance of tripping over literally everything, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I’d rather sleep on my neighbor’s couch.

This is an awesome campground. If you are looking for a quiet family campground where everyone waives at you, this is the place. We loved it here. We will be back. If you have a golf cart, bring it. There are trails to go on. We seen deer each morning. This place is huge.

Unfortunately, my family and I were unable to camp here with the rest of my family this summer. This campground does not allow tent camping at all on the premises. I was told at the campground office that they had a bad encounter with a group of people who brought too many people to their campsite. They suggested that maybe they were homeless people with young kids. That made my heart very sad to hear since this is a "Christian" campground. I hope that they were at least able to supply that group of people with local resources and organizations that they could reach out to for help for themselves and for their young children. 🙏🏾 We are unable to afford a camper at this point in our lives, with young kids, but we love to tent camp when we can. After being seasonal campers here for 5 years and never causing any problems, we were told yesterday by Cova, the owner, that we can't renew for next year. He stated he was losing money and decided to downsize. He also said I had made posts on FB that were derogatory. His managers were there also and we asked them if we had ever caused a problem, they were surprised also. He claims to be a very religious man, but really.......We never broke any of the rules, paid our fees every year on time and kept our site clean. Rates have gone up every year since we've been there. Only excuse for rate increases is the electric bills. The electric is included in our yearly fee, 2024 was $2700. Going up to $2800 for 2025. Open from May 1st to Oct 31.

Love the beauty and Christian experience. Church on site every Sunday so you can attend in your camp clothes! Lake, pool, club house with games, books, and DVD's for your convenience. Friendly staff who work diligently to keep the place in ship shape!! Owner is a gem. Thank you for living up to your name!
