We just stopped to take in the sunset, it was nice near the campground and we walked a loop inside the fairgrounds as well.
Takes awhile to get deep, but is roped off for safety, has a large playground area, sandy beach it's just a beautiful beach also has a few picnic tables and a store
Nice little beach area. Clean sand, water is nice. Stand up paddle board rentals available. Bring your own food & drink - didn't see anything nearby.
