Promontory Park Campground

We got married here on 8/30/25 It was absolutely perfect. Sky and Phil were our absolutely amazing camp hosts. They were more than help and accommodating. Our day was so special and when we had complications with our reservations they fixed it without hesitation. Sky even brought Jr. Camper art projects for our kids. We had an amazing stay! Our middle son caught not only his first fish but he caught 4 in total. They have electric hot plate stations for community cooktops. The yoms have electricity and bunk beds this has one of our favorite spots.

Very beautiful locale, and everything was clean. Fishing was fun and super great at small fry lake, other than no fish caught or seen. I would have appreciated less alcohol consumption as it was not allowed. Also, the dock near the campground had no ladder! You would think they'd have a ladder available as people will undoubtedly swim.

Spent 5 days there visiting family. Super clean, gate staff very helpful and friendly. Swimming with our dogs, fishing everyday and gorgeous sunsets!

Have been going here since I was a little girl. Now we take our kids and enjoy a weekend camping or out on the boat with the family. Wish they never made the spots smaller but still a great place to camp or day trip.

This would be a wonderful place if it weren’t for the live in manager. When you go to live there, you sign a lease that has written rules. It also says on the lease that no rules are implied or verbal. But that’s not the case with this manager she has her own rules. And if you don’t abide by her rules that are not in the lease, then she will do whatever she can to get you out of there. Like in my case, I parked in my next-door neighbor spot with his permission and she tried to evict me, saying you can’t do that. I asked her and asked her to show me in the lease where it says I cannot park in my neighbor spot. She could not do it. Well, I got a lawyer and the day before Court her lawyer called up and said we had the judge just miss it. Which means basically I want, and it cost her thousands
