Powder Hound Lodge

This was my first visit to the powderhound lodge and it exceeded all expectations! Thank you for much for everything, especially your hospitality.

We had a group of eight stay here for four nights for a great snowmobile trip. Excellent hosts that made sure we had everything we needed, very friendly atmosphere and excellent for snowmobilers!

My Girlfriend and I were looking to blow the dust off the Snowmobiles, so we set out on a hunt to find lodging which is when PowderHound Lodge came highly recommended by multiple friends of mine. We reached out to Anne & set up our dates. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Chris, Anne, & their two beautiful dogs! They welcomed us to the lodge and we received the grand tour! We were very pleased! We took off snowmobiling & returned to relax in the hot tub, followed by a few drinks, sharing stories with other guests as well as Chris & Anne! They are great hosts who offer a great experience to run parallel with your plans of visiting the area. We will be back for sure! One stay and you feel like you're part of the family!

We visit at least once a year since this place opened and always wish we could stay longer. Anne and Chris are friendly, respectful and welcoming to everyone who comes through their doors and are more than accommodating. We usually have anywhere from 8 to 10 people and never have complaints. Sure, the hot tub was out of order one time-but Anne had the decency to tell us beforehand, which is not a courtesy many chain hotels provide. Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, etc. are but a stones throw away, which if the down-home atmosphere and pleasant company isn't enough, should be reason enough to stay.

The best priced lodge in the area. What's more is that it is a quality place. My wife and I stayed here along with friends. It is a laid back atmosphere and felt like home. The owners Chris and Annie were so nice and by the time we left we considered them friends. Even before arrival they were working to make sure that we had the best time possible as they knew our friends in our group had small children and they recommended we switch rooms away from the rec room for the children will not be kept up in the evening in case of any noise. So they gave us a discount for switching our rooms away from the rec room and the room my wife and I selected was still near the rec room but there was nothing to be concerned about as there was not any noise. It is such a beautiful, rustic looking place yet
