Port Lodge Motel Pulaski

2 might be too high. When we arrived there was no one in the office. We waited approximately 30-45 minutes before someone showed up, not the staff, and gave us the room key telling us to stop back that night. We debated going somewhere else but there are not many hotels in Pulaski and we were traveling with a pet and decided to stay the three nights. We were visiting family most of the time | In the room the bathroom outlet didn't work and wouldn't reset, 2 of 3 outlets in the room had no covers, 1 outlet was loose and the plug would not stay secure. The light between the beds didn't work. The AC did work and the beds were tolerable. Quite an experience. Apparently this is a big salmon fishing town and we were at the beginning of this season. In the middle of nowhere. Social Services puts homeless families here, so there is often bed bugs and roaches. No bathtubs, no activities and no wifi. Its like a hotel youd see on a scary movie. Always people "tenants" congregated outside smoking and using drugs freely. No food locations near here besides 1 convenience store that is severely overpriced

the bed had a dried white substance where do i even start the shower is smaller than my closet the water temp was terrible ice cold when u turn it on hot i had asked for a dif room i was told they were full the owner had laughed when i brought this to his attention about the white substance i had asked for a refund was told absolutley not i checked out without being there for a hour. if you are headed up to pulaski for the fishing it is best to sleep in a HOTEL parking lot i do not recommend the portland lodge motel.

It is kind of what you would expect from an out of the way mom and pop place. The lady that did housekeeping was amazing. That being said there was no hot water, we got lukewarm at best even after letting it run for 15 min. When this was mentioned to the gentleman at the desk he acted "confused" and offered no solution. So be aware.
