The Scheppard’s Hook Motel

I am going to hate myself for leaving a 5 star review. NOT because they dont deserve it, oh they do, but because this means at least 1 more person will know about this place and make it harder to book a room. Its location was perfect for what my son and I were doing. The room was cozy, nicely updated. Warm and clean. I mean very clean. The heater worked, the beds were firm, maybe extra firm (i like that). The couple that runs the place are so friendly and professional. They earned a repeat customer for life with me. Thank you guys, seriously!!!!!

My first visit to this property was a three night stay for two days of steelhead fishing. It is a small "mom and pop" facility, which is easily reached from I-81. The room was just fine in size, clean, and had a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The heater was quiet and worked well, while the shower water was hot with good pressure. Parking right outside of room. Friendly folks and reasonably cost. I would stay there again.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay as the rooms were clean, updated, and perfect for a long weekend away. The hosts are wonderful people and take such pride in this motel! Rented 3 rooms during the stay and all were just what we needed for some time on Lake Ontario. Very close to the lake, some great local restaurants, and amazing fishing!

This is our 2nd time staying and it's been a wonderful stay. We got lucky that the hosts were able to accommodate us on such a short notice during the holiday week. This is our first choice to stay when we visit family. Thanks Ed and Lenore, see you the next time 😊
