Port Angeles Inn

We had an excellent stay! The room was clean and exactly what we needed. Staff was super nice. We had a view of the town & water. The location is perfect, an extremely short walk (with lots of stairs!) down to the town with a ton of restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommend for a great, relatively inexpensive, clean, place to stay in Port Angeles.

Terrible experience. The hotel is old and very dated. That said, it was clean and a great view. The problem we had is that the heat in our room did not work and despite multiple times of telling us that they would be up to the room to fix the problem no one ever came to our room to try to solve the problem. Tired of waiting for someone to come and fulfill their promise to fix the heat we finally piled blankets on the bed and went to sleep. The next morning the assistant manager made a small adjustment to our bill. When I told her I wasn't satisfied she said that the owner would call me, that never happened, nor did he return my follow up calls. |I have a problem with someone making a promise, in this case mulitple times, then not following through. |This was an unfortunate ending to what w

Positive: Loved the view, it was extremely clean, had an elevater. Negative: Noisy, Had to call the front desk twice to fix TV, second time call 3 times and let it ring forever because dude was outside talking with a buddy, smoking. I could see him, but didn't want to yell at him from 3 floor across parking lot.

Our overall experience was a 5⭐ While the rooms and technology are a little old, it's very clean and well kept. The folks at the front desk are super nice, accommodating, very willing to help! We had a great stay at the Port Angeles Inn in our 2-night stay while exploring Olympic! Would definitely return!

Would you pay $73 a night for a hotel room featuring hypnotic tranquility? I'd add, that this family-run Port Angeles Inn is perched atop a hill near Second Street, a magical spot that looks out at the deep-water harbor. (In the 1950s, the three-story inn was then named Hill Haus Motel.) It's now early December, certainly off-season; no crowds. Outside my floor-to-ceiling "Harbor View" room window, looking over the tops of a sleepy downtown, is what brings me here, again-and-again: the fluid motion of people, differing style ships, and the ever-present sea gulls riding the wind over a calm harbor. Looking across the strait I can clearly see Vancouver Island! Meantime, on this third visit here, I'm stuck in a trance looking outside...a second ago I opened the door to my room. I Love this pl
