Our fishing group of guys has been coming to Point o Pines for over 20 years. Grown children have increased the size of the group so we had 10 people this year.||The trip after Fort Frances goes east along #11 to an old logging road, into another resort.||We launch and park there, then go by boat for ½ mile to the Point o Pines. Makes us feel like we are really out in the wilderness. Karen meets us at the dock, knows us by name, and there are welcoming hugs. We usually use two cabins which are clean and bright. There are always improvements from year to year such as new appliances.||Several of the guys needed rental boats and Pete had these fueled and ready to go so even after the drive we were out fishing on the arrival evening.||Ontario walleye limits are low, (1 walleye in the boat

This is a small, family-owned fish camp with beautifully maintained cabins, boat rentals, fantastic game room, and fish cleaning house. The cabins are spotless and include everything that you would need from hot showers and linens to all kitchen supplies, appliances, and comfortable beds. The fishing is awesome and includes small mouth bass, northern, walleye, and crappy fishing. Rainy Lake is gorgeous. This camp is unique in that it is remote enough for privacy and quiet, yet accessible from the boat launch without having to fly in. Bring your own boat or rent one of theirs. Bring your own food and water. Very reasonable rates. Karen and Pete really go out of their way to make your stay memorable. This is a great place for singles, groups, or families.
