Pointes West Army Resort - Camping Area 2

Nice lake, but campsites are way to close together. Luckily while I was there not all the spots were occupied.

My wife and I only stayed here overnight but we know we want to return for an extended stay. The grounds are well kept, the spots roomy and the staff friendly, attentive and helpful.

Great location for a destination wedding feel with in the CSRA! Shooting wedding the location is accommodating and the scenery is breathtaking when weather is good .

Always enjoy going to Pointes West, however this time the damage from hurricane Helene has made for a mess and many down camp sites. Grass around campsites should be taken care of as it is overgrown and unkept. Bathroom was out of service, however there was a portable John located outside to be used.

It is amazing the work being put in to re open one of the best campgrounds around. There isn't a bad site in the whole campground. Lake side everywhere. Full hookups as well. Can't wait to get there when it opens back up hopefully in December.
