PlumpJack Inn

We stayed at the PlumpJack Inn in Olympic Valley for a ski trip and booked the one-bedroom suite. Just a heads up — it’s essentially two connecting hotel rooms. One side had a king bed, and the other had a pull-out couch with a table and chairs. Both rooms had their own bathrooms, which was actually a huge win. Ladies… you know how nice it is to have your own bathroom while traveling. He used one, I used the other. Zero sharing. 🙌 The absolute best part? They are SO dog friendly. They provide bowls and dog beds, and they even give your pup treats. It made traveling with our dog feel easy and welcome. Location-wise, you really can’t beat it. It’s right across from the Village and the closest lift is the Tram, which is a huge plus when you’re clunking around in ski boots. Being that close

Upon checking in we were greeted by such friendly and professional staff. Andrea was so helpful in accommodating our needs. We stayed in The Penthouse Suite. It had such a rustic feel to it, clean and comfortable. Although the carpets could use an update they were none the less clean. Every staff member that we met went above and beyond. The pool is older but clean, with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs. The Plumpjack Cafe was a great dining experience for both lunch and dinner. The bar is a great place to have a cocktail before dinner. We cannot wait to return. Special thanks to Jeff who knows the meaning of hospitality, also Blair and Elena at the bar, Emma the hostess at the restaurant and the wait staff Alicia and Haley!

Plumpjack Inn is a convenient option for those skiing at Palisades, it is literally steps from the lift and the village. Parking is included and the restaurant downstairs is excellent!! We loved the delicata squash pasta and the selection of homemade ice creams. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and helpful, shout out to Tommy who helped shovel our car and get us out of the parking lot safely. The one thing I will say is that our room was not cleaned in the 3 days we stayed here. Also the hot tubs were out of order. However we would stay here again!

Amazing experience staying here this last weekend! Juan was amazing and upgraded our room! The location is incredible. We ate at the restaurant twice it was so good! We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

The women at the front desk were fantastic. You can always tell when someone enjoys their job and they clearly did. Such friendly and helpful service!
