Pleak RV Resort

Big and new rv resort. It was full of people. Not many rv parks in the area. The rv pads were very thin and hard to keep from getting in the mud. It was very dark. No lights. The shower/bathhouse was hard to identify as it had no signage. They laundry area is behind the bathrooms on the back. just has a number and a letter? It's nice but seems like they haven't stocked it with any hospitality items..no towels no soaps. The toilet paper was all gone. One of the 2 individual toilets was locked. Someone had used that first shower and there was water all the way out the door to come in almost. It was also very hot in there at 9am. My camper is a retro remodel and the one thing it lacks is a bathroom, so the bathhouse at the places we stay is important to us. Wasn't really digging the shower he

I have lived here for over a year. Well maintained place, always accommodating to the needs of guest, always made sure things worked or were cleaned, and just friendly people overall. I would go back in a heartbeat if I lived in that area again. Good people and community here

Not a resort, just a place to park. There is no signage, so it's easy to miss the driveway off TX-36. Google maps will actually tell you to "turn into the parking lot". Website shows a lake. No lake. Website says there is wifi. There is not. Cement pad is just wide enough for my fifth wheel. The ground has thorns and fire ants so I didn't put my chairs out.

Came with plans to stay less than two months and stayed for five, lol. Nice place. New and still upgrading. Concrete sites are narrow but doable. Nice laundry area. Can’t comment on the other restrooms and such as we didn’t use them but they looked nice. Lovely owners. Reliable and on top of things. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our way east next year.

Just wanted to give a warm shout-out to the fine folks at Pleak RV! I have stayed in their campground three different times now. Each stay has been a peaceful " home away from home" experience.... I look forward to future stays here, a highly recommended spot!
