Customer Reviews
This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked into the room, there was a strong musty, mold-like smell that immediately made the entire space feel dirty and unhealthy. No guest should have to stay in a room that smells like mold. The room itself clearly wasn’t properly cleaned or maintained. Things felt grimy, and it gave the impression that basic housekeeping and upkeep are being ignored. When you pay for a hotel room, you expect a clean and safe environment — this was neither. To make matters worse, the staff did not seem concerned when issues were brought up. Instead of addressing the problem, it felt like our concerns were brushed aside. Customer service should be a priority in hospitality, and that was definitely not the case here. Bet
The sheets appeared clean, but the bedspread did not. I think that their rooms and the quality and furnishings vary from great to not-so-great. The first room we were given was a smoking room and we wanted a non smoking. But the smoking room looked pretty cool. It was set up almost like an apartment with two bedrooms and a small kitchen with a back door. But the smell of smoke was too much for us. The second room had a t.v. that looked like it was from the 1970s. We didn't try to use it. The bathroom had a shower but not a tub. Look at my pictures for more information.
The motel was quiet, inexpensive and clean. Reminded me of a little apartment with two rooms, a kitchen and bathroom that was pet friendly. Restaurant and ice cream parlor with a bar for adults across the road and not far from the ice rink. Perfect for a family traveling and a lot of history with the building. We enjoyed our stay immensely and the staff was wonderful 😊
The staff here are friendly and helpful. We found ourselves in a strange situation and the staff accommodated us without any fuss. The only thing they fussed over was our needs and happiness. The rooms were comfortable even though run down a bit. If you want glass and brass go somewhere else, if you just want a clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff this is the place for you. When I am back in the area this will be the only place I stay.
Our stay was for July 13th-14th Location was great. Until we got to our room it was beyond dirty there was hair, food crumbs the floors were peeling up and the deck and stairs to our room where NOT safe to walk across we didnt stay we checked out and stayed somewhere else that was way cleaner. Most definitely not staying here again this place will never be a thought on where to stay. I also would not recommend this place to a rock.
