Plain & Fancy Bed & Breakfast

We stayed here over the weekend (March 7, 2026). It was absolutely lovely. I was looking for a quiet place to unwind and this was perfect. Rachel had amazing hospitality. We had a fruit and cheese tray, cookies, water and soda waiting for us. The breakfast was good too. We dined in a little quiet area with the sun beaming through the windows. I will definitely be back! Beware of the dark road coming down. There is also not much nearby but that was fine for me.

Superb breakfast, friendly hostess and wonderfully romantic room. We can’t wait to go back. The room was well stocked with soda and coffee and was so comfy. The fireplace and jacuzzi tub were an added bonus!

The best BnB that we've ever stayed at. Lots of attention to detail in both the room decor and holiday decorations. Very clean. Entire staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Delicious full breakfast was catered to my unique dietary needs. Charming beautiful historical house on the exterior but yet remodeled and updated on the interior. Couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommend staying here.

We would highly recommend this restful and cozy retreat surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Scarlet room was clean, and had many amenities like coffee, a refrigerator, spacious shower and large tub. The host was gracious, knowledgeable about the area, and provided us an amazing breakfast.

Super cute B&B, everything as described, nice accommodations for the price. They don’t rush you and make every effort to ensure you’re comfortable. Don’t skip breakfast or the recommended local spots to check out.
