Mike & Hannah were great hostesses!!! We stayed Friday night memorial weekend! Clean trails and campsites. Solar powered. Great amenities. The hot tub was such an incredible way to end a long week. We had such a great time and plan on booking once a month for the next 4 months! Such a gem place to have in the valley. Fishing. Hiking. Biking. Etc.

The experience was decent, camp sites are interesting but the photos give you expectations things are maintained well. Seems softer and prettier in the pictures but really it's a bit of a rough place. The toilets were clean but compost toilets, OK but not well documented in descriptions. Take note of their lack of social media presence the last couple years. We stayed at the last site on the left. Leveled tent pad barely had any woodchips, many large sharp rocks poking out of the ground. Covered the rocks with piles of leaves to make tent pad suitable. A rough site with lots of rocks to trip over. Took a look at other sites and they all seemed nicer than this one. The hot tub/sauna are what I expected but I hoped for more. The hot tub was filthy with a film on top. The shower next to it

Arcadia Valley outdoors: My brother said this place was like Paradise! We had a great stay here. We originally had planned to stay at “Bedrock” which was way in the back of the property, a very large campsite with a tent on the platform all ready for you, but my brother was unsatisfied with the parking situation there for his big SUV. Bobby Jo was extremely friendly and accommodating and helped us choose one that had a pull-through to make my brother happy. “Terrarium”was a great site, room for 3 tents, had a bench, fire pit, mini picnic table and a great view of the stars through the trees. We absolutely loved it. Since it is near the entrance of the property, it is also close enough to a road to get some traffic noise, but it was intermittent and did not detract from the “paradise”. Y

Down pouring rain somehow miraculously cleared up as soon as we arrived at this camp site over last weekend. There's six other booked site not showing up, granting us the entire campground to ourselves. We also found a cute table nestled between two trees, where we use to prepare dinner and enjoyed our meal. Instead of grilling, we brought a pre-prepared soup, saving us some hassle. Sight of fireflies flickering just outside our camp at night, it was magical. 🪄 💫 It was next to the Shepherd Mountain Lake, and the campsite offered kayak for FREE!

Had an awesome weekend camping out here. There are a few sites still under construction, and it looks like they're all going to be just as nice. We stayed up at the group site, and it's perfectly spaced. There were a bunch of level tent locations spread around a really nice communal area. Short walk to the bathroom, and not too far of a walk up front where there was some drinking water available. Alex was on-site that weekend and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It's an easy drive to the shut-ins, and to Tom Sauk, as well as to the main part of Ironton if you need to pick up any essentials. Highly recommend this place for some quiet and very conveniently located camping.
