Pioneer Inn

What an amazing surprise in this small mountain town. The people were super friendly and the food was top shelf. The wings and cheesey bread were SO good. The rooms were super clean and quiet. Great place!

Friends and I have stayed here several times over the past few years while riding the Idaho BDR or other motorcycle trips. The rooms are very nice and clean and the restaurant serves delicious food with excellent service.

Friendly and clean hotel on our Idaho Backroads Discovery Route. The rooms were clean and afforded the perfect nights stop on our trip. Downtown stairs, Chubbys Pizza was wonderful and the beer cold.

On the Idaho BDR, we decided to stay the night in Pierce, a quaint little town with a population of 427. I liked its no-frills charm. The room was straightforward but, most importantly, it was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. We went downstairs to the restaurant for some ice cream. When I mentioned to the lady (who I assume was the manager or owner) that my husband and I would be sharing, we were given a very generous scoop of Rocky Road. It was a fitting end to our day on the Lolo Motorway.

Couldn't had a more pleasant, warm experience while staying at the Pioneer. We arrived late in the evening as the restaurant at the hotel was closing. They kept the kitchen open so that we could get settled and eat after a 6 hour drive. The cook made us some amazing sandwiches, and made our night better. Their kindness and hospitality are above and beyond the expected, true hidden gem in a small town!
