Wall to wall Bed Bugs and roaches. Not only wss the bed infested. So was the carpet and chairs. Management was notified of the bugs after first night and did nothing about it. Rented a room for a month for $800 then spent an additional $200+ in pesticides to make the room habitable for my rental period. Asked reimbursement for my additional expense in the form of a lower rate for a second month. Management refused. Health department said there is nothing they can do because they rent out rooms as a residence and not just a nightly rental. Absolutely dismal. Do NOT stay here!!

I chose this place based on reviews here as I needed a cheap place to sleep on a trip from Kentucky to Texas. I chose this over the motel 6 due to traveling with my teenage grandson and this place advertises a free breakfast. ||I dickered with the person at the front desk for a price that was somewhat reasonable. got the room down to $46 something plus tax. ||What was advertised but not there: largest pool in town. Pool was drained but for green sludge at the bottom complete with a frog. No breakfast. Some cereal that looked to have been there since the 80's. Restaurant onsite. There is a building that appears to have been a restaurant once. It is now home to a free meal program for children. There is an ice machine...no ice. Two soda machines onsite and neither worked. ||The

I stayed here the weekend of the total eclipse for two nights. The room looked like it had just been remodeled. New appliances, clean room, not a roach or bedbug to be found. It was a smoking room but there was no stale smoke smell. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I had was the noise factor. The walls are thin, and you can also hear the conversations going on outside. Near a gas station and train tracks so you can hear that noise as well. Very hard for me to sleep with the noise. Also the ac/heating unit was very old and it took me a while to figure out how to work it but once I did, it worked fine. All in all, considering the area and the price, it exceeded my expectations.

Stayed here the 12-13 of February 2024. Found via Google and we checked in late. Went to a window rang a bell and a lady came up to the window to get my ID. we were pulling a 16 foot trailer with a car on it and they let us park it right in the corner near our room. We did not see any bugs at all the room was freshly remodeled and the bathroom. we paid cash and had a cash deposit that was refunded before we left by them checking our room. It was cheaply priced online yet we actually paid 84.00 with tax. No complaints. Did hear a bit of noise from above but not excessive.
