Pine Knoll Hotel Lakeside Lodge & Cabins

Stayed here probably five times now. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the owners are very welcoming. I don’t stay anywhere else in Old Forge now!

Such an amazing place. The owner is very nice. We are here for Fourth of July weekend. Perfect spot for the fire works and walking distance to everything. The rooms are clean and decor is cabin feel. Nice touches with the welcome basket too

I have always enjoyed the Pine Knoll Lodge and Cabins. Their close proximity and walking distance to Town, the snowmobile trails and lakes are a huge bonus. The owners have always been accommodating to myself and any guests that I’ve recommended. The place is always clean and family-friendly.

You can't beat the location - not on the main drag but *right on the lake* and within walking distance of most of the town. Our room (double queen room with balcony) was a good size, had a table & chairs we could actually use for breakfast, secure balcony. Kitchenette was basic but well supplied. Amenities were nice - I used the shower gel and it smelled good. Decor was appropriately woodsy. The room was immaculately clean - when was the last time you stayed at a hotel and didn't find a stray hair *anywhere*? The room also did not have that musty smell common to properties on the water, and everything was well maintained. The owner Vickie is a gem - so friendly and helpful! I would recommend calling the hotel directly, vs booking via a third party. The process may not be quite as instant a

Amazing location to watch fireworks, watch the sun rise 🌄, or just to watch the world go by. Rooms are cute and actually have a kitchenette -- a piece that irks me about most hotels/lodges. And you can't beat the location. A 1 mile walk gets you to almost everything -- water slides, ice cream 🍦, coffee are at the far end of that mile, but the beach and the TOBIE trail 🚲 are within a quarter mile. Got to talk to the owner while watching fireworks 🎆 from the dock. What kind of place hands out cookies and brownies to guests while waiting for the show to start?!? This place. Will need to book again in the fall 🍁.
