Pine Cone Ranch Resort

Our week at Pine Cone Ranch was awesome! We were able to hike along the quiet roads virtually every day. We saw multiple deer, wild turkeys, and even a coyote. Shelly checked on us multiple times, and Tom even emptied the water out of our boat after some rain. We highly recommend Pine Cone for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the great outdoors.

We have been going to Pine Cone Ranch for at least four years with the extended family and love, love, love it! It is run by an amazing family, very clean cabins with lovely updates each year and on a beautiful and clear lake. We keep coming back cause it has always been a great experience. Fishing off the dock for kids has been rewarding for them so far:-) Highly recommend! Disclaimer, we always go over Memorial Day weekend so we dont really swim (too cold) and don’t know how the lake looks over the summer.... guessing it’s still lovely.

Great place to stay with nearby trail for hiking/biking. The lake is beautiful and we got the fishing boat included with our stay. We rented out a kayak and used the canoe and pedal boats which are first come first served (1 canoe available and 2 pedal boats available). Free firewood is provided and the bonfires we made were great! The only problem was that the mosquitoes are crazy and don't seem to mind bug spray lol. We had a great stay and would look into coming back again next year

Great place to start when visiting my old home town of Tomahawk, WI! Our unit met our needs perfectly. Shelly and Tom were wonderful hosts! We will be sure to stay at the Pine Cone Ranch Resort in the future.

We are first timers at this small but lovely family owned and run resort- 4th generation. We were greeted warmly, check in went smoothly. The cottages are very clean, many updates, stocked very well with all you would need to be comfortable during your stay- dishes, hand soap, dish soap, towels, utensils and good cookware. Instructions and rules posted in the cabins along with a check out list which is super helpful to know how to properly sanitize dishes (esp during COVID) and what to do with garbage and recycling. A great guide to all the local businesses and attractions in the area is included in their brochure. Free fire wood as well! Row boats come with the cabins and if you want a motor, it's a reasonable fee to have one put on. Fishing was ok, we only had the one day to go out on th
