Pier Sixty-Six

Pier Sixty-Six was the perfect way to start our vacation. From the moment we checked in, everything was wonderful. The welcome drink was such a nice touch and the staff could not have been friendlier. We were given a gorgeous corner room with the most beautiful, spacious bathroom and more amenities than I could even begin to list. When we arrived in the room there were lovely chocolates waiting, along with bottled water and slippers, and the balcony was a great surprise. The room was so comfortable and beautiful that we honestly never even left—we ordered room service for both dinner and breakfast and just enjoyed relaxing before our cruise. Pier Sixty Six was a wonderful place to stay with our family. We arrived late in the night and were greeted with warm and welcoming smiles. The front desk asked if we needed some water and asked if there was anything we needed prior to heading to our room. The water was in a glass bottle which is AMAZING as we do not drink out of plastic. The hotel offers free water in your room throughout the entire stay which is also another huge plus. We also had a very sweet treat waiting for us upon entering our room which was also an unexpected little plus. The room was spacious and CLEAN! Wow! We found our new must-stay south Florida hotel…it literally leaves our other favorite luxury hotels/residences in the dust! We made a last minute reservation after the Ritz in Bal Harbour and in Fort Lauderdale were full. We were familiar with Pier 66 as it has a new and very nice marina but had never needed to get out of our normal routines when staying in the area. The difference was obvious from the moment we pulled up. The valet attendants were experienced in high end service and went out of their way to ensure we were welcomed and well cared for…the hotel was very busy and we had to wait for the check in of a few other people but were given refreshments that made the wait worth the wait :-). Had a great time way better than hard rock hotel

My overall experience at Pier 66 Hotel was a 7 out of 10. I booked a room for Valentine’s Day and paid $1,000 for one night, so I definitely had high expectations. The highlight of our stay was the front desk gentleman who checked us in — Michael Potter. He was absolutely amazing. Even though our room was switched due to a mistake on the hotel’s end, he handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, and made the situation much easier for us. The room itself was nice, but there were a few details that were missed, such as two cracked cups on the drink rim, which shouldn’t happen at a high-end resort. Breakfast was another disappointment — the wait time was about an hour and a half. They did try to make it better, but overall, the experience was still frustrating and
