I’m sure this house is where some friends from West Virginia and I stayed for the summer of 1962. We rented rooms from the owner and shared the living room and kitchen with the family. It was a great house across from the ocean and a real learning experience, let me tell you. My friend Betty and I worked at Mack’s restaurant on Broadway (that’s a whole other story) and the rest of the girls worked at The Lobster Shanty. What is summer! I highly recommend the Pier House although I don’t think it was called that way back when.
