Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center Harrisburg Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Stayed three nights at this venue, It is a very well kept facility with excellent housekeeping. My room was super clean. The bed was soft but comfortable. All the usual amenities were fine, television, refrigerator, etc. The room ventilation was the quietest of any room I have ever rented and maintained temperature exactly where it should. The bathroom, while clean, had issues with the tub drain being broken and the shower diverter valve allowing both shower and tub spout flow at the same time. I would not let this minor annoyance prevent me from booking a room here. This property has no elevator. Hotel restaurant is not open 7 days a week.

A friend and I picked this hotel largely bc of their shuttle service to the convention center. Rooms are clean, good size and decor was fine. Bathroom was a touch small but served its purpose. The staff and shuttle service were stellar. The in-house restaurant terrible. The food was prison food, but the burger was some-what edible. The bartender, Molly was a gem. I'd recommend if you don't mind traveling out for dinner, but if you're looking to eat in, avoid this hotel.

My stay at the Penn Harris was nothing more than spectacular! It was a pleasure getting to know the staff Kerri, Mark, Molly and Lindsey in the restaurant were so lovely. Nadine was nice enough to show me around the room and we had a nice chat. The staff here is amazing!! I spent the entire Christmas holiday here and can’t wait to come back!

Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. We went to the lounge our first night and Lindsey was tending bar. She was friendly, a great conversationalist and poured a mean drink! Also introduced us to one of her own concoctions which was fabulous!!! The next morning we had breakfast in the restaurant and Becki was our waitress. She overheard us talking about sharing our meals since we were torn about what to get (fabulous food BTW) and came out with 2 plates apiece with the meals split perfectly between the 2 of us. She was smiling, attentive and hugged us when we left!! This was for business but we are already planning a girls' trip in the spring and coming back!
