Comfort Suites Camp Hill-Harrisburg West

Excellent, super clean newly Hotel! We stayed for years at Days Inn and got more and more disappointed. We were told by a friend that this was by far the best in Harrisburg. If I could I would give 10 stars! Well worth the money. The breakfast was wonderful, big roomy modern shower and big rooms with all the amenities.

The room was clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet (no loud roadways and we got lucky with no loud neighboring guests). The breakfast was great (staff made sure to continually clean up the serving space if needed and ensured everything was stocked). The staff member for checkout was great, though the staff members at check in were both a little less friendly (nothing awful, just somewhat more short in terms of how they interacted for example more abrupt questioning if we were part of a group with no greeting etc.).

For a 2 star hotel, it’s fantastic. Rooms are great, hotel is clean and modern, beds are very comfortable, I’m more than happy to stay at others in the future. Price is very good as well. Free breakfast is a great perk, although the food is somewhat questionable. The staff were lovely and efficient, along with very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this hotel.

There are motion sensors above the beds which, when you fall asleep, turn off the air/heat. I’m sorry, but if I wanted it off, I’d turn it off. That’s part of what we pay for. But The room got ungodly hot and THAT interfered with my sleep. Over and over. I was more tired when I got up than when I went to bed. This is not acceptable at all. It ruins not only your sleep and possibly endangers drivers, but ruins the experience, as well.||Everyone should review when hotels have these sensors so we know not to stay there.

The rooms were very nice and spacious. Hotel was pretty quiet as well. The staff were very hospitable. Unfortunately. The administration service was not that good. I needed to email something urgent to print out, but the email for the hotel was not working and the staff did not seem to know this or how to fix it. Fortunately, there was a manager there who was able to assist.
